It was mentioned that “Prosvita” is one of the oldest public organizations that has played crucial role in preserving Ukrainian nation, culture, language and history. It has also counteracted denationalization processes of separated Ukraine.
The draft resolution (Reg. No.11333) includes a number of recommendations: the government should establish organization committee to prepare and hold the events; the State Committee for TV and Radio Broadcasting should organize thematic TV and radio programs devoted to the activities of “Prosvita” and ensure media coverage of the celebration.
