Голова Верховної Ради України Руслан Стефанчук повідомив на своїй сторінці у Фейсбук, що Парламент Естонської Республіки (Riigikogu) прийняв рішення із закликом до країн-членів ООН про закриття неба України від російського агресора.
«Це перше рішення від парламенту країни, яка входить до ЄС та НАТО. Першим бути складно, відповідально та почесно», - сказав Руслан Стефанчук.
Від себе особисто, від українських парламентаріїв та від всього народу Голова Верховної Ради України подякував Спікерові Парламенту Естонської Республіки Юрі Ратасу та всім депутатам за сміливість і відданість Україні
«Це рішення має стати прикладом рішучості для інших парламентів світу. Адже парламентарії - це представники народу. А народи світу вимагають рішучих дій по встановленню миру та закриття неба над Україною.
Ми з нетерпінням чекаємо, щоб небо знову стало для нас джерелом світла і тепла, а не смерті і руйнувань, які несе росія», - наголосив Руслан Стефанчук.

The Parliament of the Republic of Estonia (Riigikogu) has adopted a decision calling on the UN member states to close the Ukrainian sky.
from the Russian aggressor.
This is the first decision from the parliament of a country that is a member of the EU and NATO. Being the first is difficult, accountable, and honorable.
Therefore, I would like to sincerely express the gratitude from myself, from Ukrainian parliamentarians and from all the Ukrainian people to the Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Estonia Juri Ratas as well as all the deputies for their courage and devotion to Ukraine.
This decision should become an example of determination for other parliaments of the world. For parliamentarians are representatives of the people. And the peoples of the world demand decisive actions to establish peace and close the sky over Ukraine.
We truly look forward to the sky becoming the source of light and warmth for us once more – and would cease to be the source of death and destruction, being sent to us by the Russian Federation.
