During the discussion, the Ukrainian side emphasized the following key issues to the international partners:
- current security situation in Ukraine and the urgent need to increase military aid
- support for the “Peace through Strength” position as the only effective approach to countering the aggressor
- strengthening
sanctions pressure on russia to weaken its economic potential, preventing the
production of weapons and the continuation of the war
- Ukraine’s European integration, including the opening of the first clusters this year already
- Also further steps were discussed within the framework of international cooperation, aimed at stopping the aggression
- Ukrainian people express sincere gratitude to Belgium for its consistent support, important decisions and willingness to work together towards just and lasting peace.
