Ukrainian parliamentarians called on representatives of the Inter-Parliamentary Union to boycott the russian delegation at the IPU Assembly.

People's deputies of Ukraine, members of the Executive Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Olga Rudenko, Iryna Gerashchenko, Artur Gerasymov and Oleksiy Zhmerenetskyi held a meeting with the President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union Duarte Pacheco during his working visit to Kyiv.

People's deputies of Ukraine noted that russian aggression poses threats to the entire world, including the nuclear, food and migration crises.

During the meeting, People's deputies of Ukraine emphasized humanitarian issues, the crucial importance of releasing the PoWs, admitting the international humanitarian organizations to the places of detention, and the return of Ukrainian children having been illegally deported to russia.
