In April 2015, the Secretariat of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine registered 184 information inquiries.

In compliance with the data by the Information Department of the Secretariat of the Ukrainian Parliament, inquiries of 23 citizens were rejected in compliance with effective legislation and 10 requests were sent further to respective administrators.

The most often were the requests for copies of income declarations of Verkhovna Rada deputies for 2014; attendance of Verkhovna Rada committees meetings by people's deputies in February-March 2015; attendance of open plenary meetings of the Ukrainian Parliament; etc.

The information inquiries were received through: e-means — 78; e-mail — 65; phone — 5; etc.

The requests were processed in compliance with the Law of Ukraine “On access to public information” and respective order of Verkhovna Rada chairperson No. 393 “On ensuring implementation of Law of Ukraine “On access to public information” dated May 11, 2011.
