The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk addressed the participants of the national programme of personal and professional development of young people “Statebuilder”. This year’s programme of the educational and professional course is called “Changes are possible”.
“This is a unique opportunity to listen to lectures and discuss all the main areas of state and public life throughout the week, including with government officials,” said the Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine, adding that since the programme was launched in 2018, hundreds of young people have graduated from the programme and have already created a proactive all-Ukrainian community.
Addressing the participants, Ruslan Stefanchuk urged them not to lose their thirst for knowledge: “Learn, improve yourself, do not be indifferent and have an active life position. And to contribute to the construction of a qualitatively different state.”
He also noted that the common task is to find the right answers to complex questions.
“The fate of post-war Ukraine will be in your hands. And you must, based on the experience and mistakes of the generations that have gone before you, shape the new history of our Ukraine,” the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine emphasised.
For reference. The “Statesman” programme has been running since 2018 at the initiative of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine in cooperation with partner organisations. This year, the training is being held at the Serhii Nyzhnii Kyiv School of Public Administration.
