Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk emphasized the importance of the sanctions against russia and the need to increase pressure on the russian federation during the meeting with the Speaker of the Canadian House of Commons, Anthony Rota.

"Pressure should apply to both sectoral and personal sanctions. And not only against the top leadership of russia but also against every russian who supports this war.

 Therefore, I consider the "visa ban" to be a fair decision. Ukrainian children are hiding in bomb shelters, so why should the children of the russian elite be free to enjoy the benefits of civilization?

 I am sure that the era of the "iron curtain" should return to russia." Said Mr. Stefanchuk.
