Representatives of the Ukrainian scout organisation Plast delivered the Bethlehem Peace Flame to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefanchuk, emphasised that this annual tradition of warmth and light serves as a reminder of the key values that unite Ukrainians.
«Every year, this warm and bright tradition reminds us of what is most important: light is transmitted from heart to heart, overcoming borders and darkness. For Ukraine today, it is a symbol of our resilience, faith and collective strength,» Ruslan Stefanchuk noted.
He thanked the scouts for their important mission and for preserving a tradition that has taken on special meaning and significance in today's world.
«May the Bethlehem Flame give strength, faith and warmth to everyone who works and serves for Ukraine,» Ruslan Stefanchuk emphasised.
