On expediting assizes
--Draft bill No.1026
“On amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine concerning grounds for referral of a case to the Grand Chamber of the Supreme Court and terms for return of administrative cases”. The purpose of the bill is to prevent delays in considering assizes. In addition, it should unify the procedural codes and resolve the problems of piling up a large number of cases at appeallate and cassational courts. The bill was taken on the second reading by 271 members of parliament.
On outer space activity in Ukraine

The draft bill No.1071 “On amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine
regarding governmental regulation of outer space activity” was upheld by 308 votes
on the second reading. The purpose of the bill is to ensure a stable
development, increase investment attractiveness, and create a competitive
environment for the development of Ukraine’s space industry both in the public and
private sectors. The bill is well pointed at luring private investments in
Ukraine’s outer space industry.
On weapon employment by UArmy and SSTS
--Draft bill No.1224
The bill proposes to harmonize the terminology, as well as to legalize the use of military weapons and equipment in a special period. The second reading of the draft bill No.1224 “On amendments to certain laws of Ukraine regarding employment by the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Special Transport Service (SSTS) of military equipment, weaponry, and special means in a special period” was sanctioned by 307 Ukrainian parliamentarians.
On un-privatizable state property
--Draft bill No.1054-1
The second reading of the draft bill No.1054-1 "On recognition as null and void the Law of Ukraine "On the list of state property items that are exempt from privatization” was sanctioned by 250 votes. The purpose of the draft bill is to attract domestic and foreign investments in Ukraine’s economy - increasing its productivity, creating new jobs, eliminating unclear legislation in the field of privatization of state property.
On development of public roads
--Draft bill No.1064
“On amendments to the Budget Code of Ukraine through introducing medium-term planning for development and maintenance of public motor-ways”. The bill is aimed at ensuring the implementation of medium- and long-term obligations under contracts for construction, reconstruction, major and medium ongoing repairs of national and local public motor-ways. 305 ayes confirmed the first reading of the bill.
On Ukraine’s financial investigations bureau
--Draft bills No. 1208 (including the bills Nos. 1208-1, 1208-2 as the alternates)
The bill kills the outdated Tax Militia establishing instead a new single organ - the Bureau of Financial Investigations of Ukraine, which is in charge of investigations in the field of public finance. The committee recommended the parliament to up-hold the bill No.1208-2 on the first reading. The bill was finally taken by 270 ayes.
On changes to state budget
--Draft bill No.2039 (including the bill No.2039-1 as the alternate)
Resources from a special fund of the state budget, which were underused for construction of the Odesa-Reni road, are to be re-distributed for construction of Rivne’s detour. 275 ayes confirmed taking the first reading of the bill No.2039.
