Ukraine and Moldova deepen their cooperation: Chair Committee on Foreign Policy and International Cooperation held a meeting with Ambassador of Moldova to Ukraine

On May 5, the Committee Chair on Foreign Policy and Interparliamentary Cooperation Oleksandr Merezhko paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed Ambassador of Moldova to Ukraine, Victor Chirilă.

The interlocutors discussed the security situation in Ukraine, ways to deepen Ukrainian–Moldovan bilateral cooperation and interparliamentary dialogue, the implementation of European integration reforms in both countries, and cooperation in the EU accession process.

Particular attention was paid to the development of cultural, educational, and scientific and technical cooperation, as well as to the exchange of visits by профильних (relevant) committee delegations in the near future.
