Committee on Anti-Corruption Policy
The сommittee rendered its decision on 53 bills. At its today's meeting, the committee has considered a number of draft laws on their compliance with the anti-corruption legislation.
President Zelenskyi’s exigent draft law No.1032 on highlight measures in reforming procuracy authorities was also reviewed by MPs prior to being sent to the Verkhovna Rada for a special procedure consideration. Following the review, the сommitteemen recognized the draft law as complying with the anti-corruption legislation and decided to recommend the Verkhovna Rada to adopt this bill as a basis.
The following bills were also taken as complying with the anti-corruption legislation upon due consideration - reg. Nos: 1007, 1047, 1081, 1062, 1071, 1061, 1050, 1009, 1049, 1080, 1030, 1042, 1044, 1008, 1012, 1045, 1060, 1066, 1026, 1035, 1036, 103, 1039, 1040, 1043, 1054, 1056, 1041, 1055, 1068, 1076, 1085, 1051, 1053, 1059, 1069, 1070, 1072, 1073, 1082, 1011, 1052, 1057, 1063, 1064, 1065, 1067, 1074, 1075, 1084, as well as 1058 (on Ukraine’s cinematograph) and 1046 (on concession) – the last two accompanied with some remarks.
The next committee sitting takes place on September 6 at 5 pm.
Committee on Ukraine’s Integration into EU
On September 4, the committeemen had an ample debate with the Vice Prime Minister on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration D. Kuleba on future VRada-Cabinet collaboration.
President Zelenskyi’s exigent draft laws Nos.1062 and 1068 were thoroughly examined and recognized as complying with EU legislation, whereas 1060 and 1084 were remarked upon.
There was stressed the need to make a bespoke mechanism capable of preventing taking laws that go against EU law.
Given the crucial moment of strategic pursuing the constitutionalized EU membership course, it is obvious that every draft bill relating to the Association Agreement should be elaborated by specialized (line) ministries and then submitted to the Vekhovna Rada via the Cabinet of Ministers.
The meeting was also attended by the Social Policy Minister Yuliia Sokolovska, the General Director of the Government Office for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Olha Stefanishyna, line deputy ministers and representatives of other central executive authorities.
Committee on Energy, Housing and Utilities Services
The committee made 11 sub-committees. The corresponding decision was adopted at the recent committee sitting. The sub-committees are as follows:

5. Sub-committee on Energy Conservation and Energy Efficiency - headed by Serhii Nahorniak, MP;
6. Sub-committee on Oil, Petroleum Transport and Oil Products Supply - headed by Dmytro Pryputen, MP;
7. Sub-committee on Gas and Gas Transportation Industry, Gas Supply Policy – headed by Andrii Zhupanyn, MP;
8. Sub-committee on Coal Industry – headed by Mykhailo Bondar, MP;
9. Sub-committee on Household Wastes Management - headed by Oleksandr Yurchenko, MP;
10.Sub-committee on Centralized Water Supply, Wastewater Collection, Heat Production and Heat Supply – headed by Yevhen Pyvovarov, MP;
11.Sub-committee on Interaction with State Authorities and Public Opinion – headed by Mykhailo Volynets, MP.
Participants of the meeting also discussed and confirmed the committee's proposals for the agenda of the second session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the ninth convocation.
Committee on Human Rights, Deoccupation and Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories in Donetsk, Luhansk Regions and Autonomous Republic of Crimea, National Minorities and Interethnic Relations
There took place the first meeting of the committee during the present parliament.
The committee had the debate on holding a field meeting in the Donbas.
In attendance there were the following members of parliament – committeemen: Lubinets Dmytro, Tkachenko Maksym, Horbenko Ruslan, Yakovlieva Nelli, Umierov Rustem, Boiko Yurii, Dzhemiliev Mustafa, Kasai Kostiantyn, Kuznietsov Oleksii, Medvedchuk Viktor, Rabinovych Vadym, Tarasenko Taras, Chyihoz Akhtem. The Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Liudmyla Denisova, the UNHCR Deputy Regional Representative Noel Calhoun, representatives of NGOs and the mass media participated in the meeting as well.
The meeting created six sub-committees and assigned their heads. The sub-committees are as follows:
1.Sub-committee on Human Rights – headed by T.Tarasenko;
2.Sub-committee on Ethnic Policy, Rights of Indigenous Peoples and National Minorities of Ukraine – headed by A.Chyihoz;
3.Sub-committee on Migration Policy and Citizenship - headed by V. Rabinovych;
4.Sub-committee on Gender Equality and Non-Discrimination – headed by N. Yakovlieva;
5.Sub-committee on Rights and Freedoms of Persons Residing in Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine and Internally Displaced Persons – headed by O. Kuznietsov;
6.Sub-committee on Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine – headed by K. Kasai.
The committeemen confirmed distribution of duties between all of the deputy heads and made their proposals on the agenda of the second session of the Verkhovna Rada of the ninth convocation. They also talked over holding a field committee sitting in the Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts (regions).
