The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Resolution “On the changes in the administrative and territorial division of Luhansk Oblast, as well as change and delimitation of frontiers of Novoaidarskyi and Slovianoserbskyi regions of Luhansk Oblast”

The document stipulates altering boundaries of Novoaidarskyi and Slovianoserbskyi regions of Luhansk Oblast by increasing the territory of Novoaidarskyi region by 30010,28 hectares and establishing the total area of Novoaidarskyi region to be 183588,28 hectares and that of Slovianoserbskyi region - 82965,72 hectares.

The respective draft resolution was registered under No. 5115.
