Ruslan Stefanchuk, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, along with the heads of parliaments of European countries, honoured the memory of the Bucha tragedy victims.

The location near the Church of St. Andrew the First-Called has become one of the symbols of russia's crimes against humanity. The mass graves of civilians executed by the russian occupiers were found here, next to the church.

«Together with the chairmen of European parliaments, we bowed our heads in memory of each victim. This silence is louder than a thousand words. It reminds everyone: crimes must be named and the perpetrators must be punished,» Ruslan Stefanchuk stated.

The Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament emphasised that three years after the liberation of Bucha have not erased the pain and truth of those days. He thanked the international partners for their support and joint tribute to the memory, making it an important gesture of solidarity that shows that the international community will not forgive this terrible crime against humanity. The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada added that Ukraine will achieve justice, and the punishment will reach all perpetrators.

«Eternal glory to the innocent lives taken by the war. Eternal honour to those who brought the liberation of the city closer,» Ruslan Stefanchuk emphasised.
