The issue of women’s participation in the post-war reconstruction is discussed on various thematic platforms: economy, entrepreneurship, education, politics, challenges.
“We, women, we Ukrainians, understand that the future of a nation is not built on hatred of another nation. The future of the nation is built on ideas, goals and dreams that unite society within the country. We have a common dream – to win. We have a common goal – to build a new peaceful, safe and prosperous life. And we have a common idea – the idea of justice in all its manifestations,” said Olena Kondratiuk.
According to her, it is fair that Ukraine should not be attacked with war, that Ukrainian children should study in schools and not in shelters.
“It is fair that the top does not steal, and the grassroots can work and pay taxes honestly. It is only fair that all Ukrainians who are going through the most terrible times should live in a restored country after the victory, which will become better, more honest and richer. It is only fair that women take part in the reconstruction, and especially in decision-making,” said Olena Kondratiuk, the Deputy Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
