The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine informed about a number of decisions adopted by the Parliament, in particular:
9333 – approved the decision of the National Security and Defence Council on the application of sectoral special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions) to the Islamic Republic of Iran for a period of 50 years.
9143 – authorised the release of material assets from the irreducible stock (state material reserve) to meet the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
9278 – established 8 May as the Day of Remembrance and Victory over Nazism in the Second World War of 1939-1945 in Ukraine every year.
9107-1 – improved the procedure for withdrawing banks owned by sanctioned persons from the market (nationalisation) so that the termination of their participation in the banking system of the state does not harm the interests of bank customers and depositors.
9275/9276 – provided for exemption for the period of martial law from taxation and import duty on components (materials, units, assemblies, equipment and components) of UAVs imported by enterprises for their own production activities for the manufacture and repair of UAVs.
FOR THE BASIS:
9015 – proposed to create mechanisms to stimulate export activities, in particular, to provide legal grounds for the export credit agency to insure investments of Ukrainian companies in Ukraine against military risks.
8401 – proposed to resume scheduled tax audits that were conducted before the full-scale invasion from 1 July 2023. The document confirmed the fulfilment of obligations under the Memorandum of Economic and Financial Policies.
