Deputy Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Olena Kondratiuk had a telephone conversation with Vice-Marshal of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland Ryszard Terletsky.

She congratulated Ryszard Terletsky on his appointment as Co-Chair of the Parliamentary Assembly of Ukraine and the Republic of Poland. "I highly appreciate your personal commitment to Ukraine and great contribution to the development of the Ukrainian-Polish strategic partnership. I look forward to an active dialogue with you, as well as to the effective cooperation of the parliaments of our countries within the framework of the Parliamentary Assembly of Ukraine and Poland," said Olena Kondratiuk, co-chair of the Assembly from Ukrainian side.
The Deputy Speaker of the Parliament expressed hope that the Polish Sejm would make an official declaration of solidarity with Ukraine against the background of the threat of a full-scale Russian invasion. In addition, she called for the creation of a "Crimea Platform" in the Polish Sejm.
