According to Andriy Parubiy, it is also necessary in the near future to see a bill on temporary (ad hoc) inquiry committees, prepared by representatives of all the factions. The head of parliament informed that he had commissioned the Committee on Rules of Parliamentary Procedure and Support to Work of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to review this bill as soon as possible, and expressed his hope for its tabling up on Thursday. "I am sure that the temporary inquiry committees and the open lists are an obligation of this parliament," annotated the politician.
Andriy Parubiy informed that this Tuesday would begin with the consideration of the bill No.6447 - a selection of questions on development of local self-government (home rule). It will be then followed by social issues and other home rule bills.
Among the chairman’s recommendations for Tuesday’s voting there is also a security bill touching upon unification of military ranks in the Ukrainian Army with the ones in use throughout the countries of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.
A set of agrarian draft bills and the resignation of Ukraine’s government in pleno have been proposed for consideration on Thursday.
The Chairman of parliament reminded that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is lawfully given ten days for adopting a relevant decision starting from the moment when the premier’s resignation is out. He instructed the Committee on Legal Policy and Justice to consider the issue on Wednesday, so that it could be properly voted on Thursday.
"I think this is one of the key issues of the ongoing plenary week," said Andriy Parubiy.
