During the Question Hour at the British Parliament, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Theresa M. May reassured that the sanctions against Russia would be kept and expanded.

In the course of his visit to the United Kingdom, the Chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament acquainted himself with the way the Parliamentary Education Centre works and called upon Prime Minister’s Questions.

After being questioned by a parliamentarian whether the anti-Russian sanctions would be kept, the UK Prime Minister assured they would be maintained and even broadened out.

“I shall be insisting upon further steadfast adherence to the sanctions imposed. In my opinion, in certain realms these sanctions ought to be widened,” stated Therese May.

Within the official visit to the United Kingdom, the whole Ukrainian delegation honored those Ukrainian soldiers and citizens who had perished four years ago in the name of Ukraine’s Independence, when releasing Mariupol from the Russian occupation.

Andriy Parubiy visited Westminster Abbey to lay flowers at the Memorial to Innocent Victims of war and oppression, followed by an orison for all Ukrainians who died for the state’s independence.
