Representatives of various spheres and industries were granted with awards of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine upon the recommendation of the relevant parliamentary committees.
Scientists, educators, doctors and volunteers from different regions of Ukraine were granted certificates of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, certificates of merit and letters of thanks from the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
The ceremony was attended by the Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk.
"The state recognises and respects those citizens who do a lot for our common victory," said the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
At the same time, he greeted all those present and expressed his gratitude to everyone for their valiant work for the benefit of Ukraine.
"It is important that at such a time people feel involved in the common victory through their work, and that their merits are recognised by the state authorities," said Ruslan Stefanchuk.
