On Thursday, 5 October, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted a number of decisions.
IN GENERAL:
10063 — amended the Law of Ukraine “On Compensation for Damage and Destruction of Certain Categories of Real Estate Objects as a Result of Hostilities, Terrorist Acts, Sabotage Caused by the armed aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine, and the State Register of Property, Damaged Destroyed as a Result of Hostilities, Terrorist acts, Sabotage Caused by the armed aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine” and provided for compensation for damaged and destroyed housing, reimbursement of the cost of construction products previously purchased at their own expense and repairs already performed.
10039 — simplified the procedure for writing off property lost during hostilities. The law provides that such property can be written off in one act with a list of everything that was lost/destroyed during the battle. The law will allow expanding the range of military property to be written off by military unit commanders and will eliminate the need for additional coordination with higher-level officials and law enforcement agencies.
AS THE BASIS:
6393-d — proposed to amend certain laws of Ukraine on the prevention of violence and the prevention of child abuse. The draft law provides for mechanisms to prevent child abuse, in particular, bullying, not only in educational institutions, but also in physical education and sports, health and recreation, culture and other groups where children are present for the purpose of education, training, creativity, rehabilitation, recreation, treatment, etc.
9088 — proposed to amend the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine to improve the efficiency of the institution of officials responsible for the stay of detainees and persons taken into custody. The draft law aims to protect the rights and interests of detainees and prisoners from the moment of detention (custody) by improving the status of the official responsible for the stay and ensuring the observance of the rights of detainees.
