Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov instructed the Parliament's Secretariat to publish in the newspaper "Holos Ukrainy" the surnames of deputies who were absent at the plenary meeting, and those who did not vote for the law allowing the ATO participants to vote, and the law on prohibition of Russian TV series on Ukrainian television.

"Military men who are located outside their military units and are participating in the ATO have more rights to elect the next Parliament than all the deputies put together", stressed the Chairperson of the Parliament, although, despite his address, a part of deputies did not vote for prohibition to broadcast Russian TV series "which heroize military forces that are conducting the war against our country".

In connection with this, Oleksandr Turchynov instructed the Secretariat to publish surnames of absent deputies, and those who did now vote for the abovementioned laws.

"Ukrainian society will be informed about those deputies who did not vote for pro-Ukrainian patriotic laws, who disrupted the voting for the right of military men to vote", he said.

Oleksandr Turchynov hopes that the next Parliament will adopt the laws necessary for the country.

"We will address the Central Election Commission to consider the issue on possibility of granting the military men the right to vote", summed up the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada, adjourning the plenary meeting on Monday.
