Today the Parliament is to consider extremely important issues which were not considered at the previous plenary meeting due to provocations at the Verkhovna Rada. Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov stressed this when opening the Monday plenary meeting.
Oleksandr Turchynov said that such issues include: insurance of the right for military men participating in the ATO and residing outside the dislocation of their military units to vote; amendments to the state budget; provision of medicines and vaccines against HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis to hospitals; insurance of rights of displaced persons who were forced to leave their homes.
In his words, after the address of the ATO battalion commanders, the issue on prohibition of "TV series which praise invaders of Ukraine, troops which are conducting the war" was included into the agenda, stressed the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada.
Moreover, Oleksandr Turchynov said that since 223 people's deputies registered in the session hall, the Parliament can not consider issues and adopt decisions. In connection with this, he addressed the factions' leaders asking to ensure presence of people's deputies at the plenary meeting in half an hour.
