"Ukrposhta" unites our country into integral Ukraine. Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov said this on Thursday on the occasion of the World Post Day.
Oleksandr Turchynov claims that today the post is changing at a fast pace on request of the time, so it is highly important that "Ukraine has the most modern post which shall become an example for other countries". "In many European countries the post comprises the most powerful enterprises where it is very prestigious to work", he said. We should create such kind of "Ukrposhta", the kind of post that should give people a chance to communicate freely without any obstacles".
The Chairperson of the Parliament congratulated participants of the celebrations on their professional holiday which unites people, because "it is your job to grant people information, to grant them hope".
"You are patriots of your country and your company, you work enthusiastically and effectively", Oleksandr Turchynov thanked all the present. The Chairperson of the Parliament presented "Ukrposhta" workers with awards of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
