During the discussion held on October 2, Chairperson of the Committee stressed that "reforming of the education shall be among priority strategic tasks for Ukraine". Everything we have gone through shows that the country needs a responsible, patriotic, professional and competitive citizen presented at the labour market".
"When there is a war in the country, it is obvious that defence capacity is of priority. However, it is also obvious that this critical time shall be used to rethink our future, our values and priorities. In every country, which cares about its future, education shall be among priorities", claimed Lilia Hrynevych.
"The educational sphere is very conservative; the results of educational changes will become obvious only in a long-term perspective, at least in 5-10 years. In connection with this, legislative changes are of priority for us. The law forms a frame and establishes the main ideas which are not easy to change even when the government is changing or the elections are held", stressed the Chairperson of the Committee.
"Any reforms, let alone, the educational reform may be implemented only in cooperation with interested social groups. Partnership should become a key slogan for all engaged in reforming education", claimed Lilia Hrynevych.
