The 107th Rose-Roth Seminar took place in Brussels — a platform for interparliamentary dialogue organized by the NATO Parliamentary Assembly in cooperation with the European Parliament to address issues of security and democracy.
More than 100 participants — parliamentarians from EU and NATO countries, Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and the Western Balkans, as well as representatives of international organizations, think tanks, and civil society — gathered to discuss ways to strengthen democratic resilience in the era of hybrid threats.
The seminar focused on the strategic cooperation between the EU and NATO as a foundation of political resilience and a key element in defending shared values, institutions, and the democratic way of life.
Panel discussions addressed a wide range of challenges — from foreign interference in elections, disinformation campaigns, and cyber threats to the role of parliamentary oversight in the security sector and the strengthening of institutional capacity.
For Ukraine, participation in such discussions is not only a demonstration of solidarity from partner states but also an opportunity to share its own experience — as a country defending not only its independence but also the common Euro-Atlantic principles.
