We, the chairs of  our respective countries’ foreign affairs committees:

   - Reiterating total rejection and strong condemnation of unprovoked and unjustified war of aggression, launched by the Russian Federation against Ukraine on 24 February 2022;
   - Recalling that Russia has been violating Ukraine's sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity since 20 February 2014 by attacking and illegally occupying Ukraine's Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the city of Sevastopol and parts of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions;
   - Stressing Ukraine's inherent right for self-defense according to the United Nations Charter Article 51, which it has activated;
   - Being confident that a free and democratic Ukraine is critical to peace, security and stability in the entire Europe;
   - Having in mind Russia's undeniable military advantage over Ukraine in the terms ?of numbers of heavy weaponry, which remains in place even after Russia's military defeats in Ukraine,

have stated the following:
   1. We applaud the bravery of Ukraine's Armed Forces and all Ukrainian citizens defending their country against overwhelming numbers of Russian troops;
   2. We stress that Ukraine has to win this war and restore its sovereignty and territorial integrity within the internationally recognized borders, including as a reminder to all totalitarian regimes that any use of force or its threat are unacceptable in the XXI century;
   3. We emphasize that the Ukrainian military needs urgent and substantial supplies of heavy weapons, including artillery, tanks, armoured vehicles, MLRS as well as respective munitions to be able to defeat the Russian troops still present in Ukraine's territory;
   4. We call on our allies and partners  to increase military and technical support to Ukraine and to speed up respective deliveries, as Russia's aggression against Ukraine is expanding and intensifying;
   5. We call on the Russian Federation to cease its aggression against Ukraine, withdraw its troops from the sovereign territory of Ukraine, return to the tenets of international law and compensate to Ukraine all losses stemming from Russia's war.
