The Verkhovna Rada was also recommended return the governmental draft law No. 2331a "On amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine" (as to protection of rights of internally-displaced persons) for further adaptation.
Taking in account the existence of alternative draft laws: the draft law No. 2004a (adapted) "On amendments to Law of Ukraine "On protection of civil rights and freedoms and legal regime on temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine" (as to improvement of the law on temporarily occupied territories) and the draft law No. 2004a-1 "On amendments to Law of Ukraine "On protection of civil rights and freedoms and legal regime on temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine" (as to termination of passes and setting of transparent rules for crossing temporarily occupied territories by people and cargoes) it was recommended send these two draft laws for adaptation and establish a workgroup under the Committee along with the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security and Defense to elaborate single draft law that would correspond to the challenges Ukraine is facing in this field today. It was also recommended take in account the draft law No. 3181 "On temporarily occupied territories."
Besides, the Committee members eyed the draft resolution No. 2493a on acknowledgement of genocide of the Crimean Tatar people and decided to recommend that the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Culture and Spirituality recommend that the Ukrainian Parliament adopt it as a basis and on the whole.
The Verkhovna Rada was also recommended support the draft resolution No. 2390a on acknowledgement and condemnation of repressions by the bodies of soviet military administrations against Hungarians and Germans of Zakarpattia during World War Two and during the war.
The Committee members backed an initiative to hold parliamentary hearings entitled "Status of observance of rights of internally displaced persons and Ukrainian citizens living on temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine and on territories uncontrolled by the Ukrainian authorities in the antiterrorist operation zone" on November 19, 2015.
