The leadership of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Members of Parliament, and the management and staff of the Parliamentary Administration extend their sincere condolences on the passing of Stepan Kubiv, a Member of Parliament of Ukraine in the 7th, 8th and 9th convocations

He was 64 years old.

In the 9th convocation of the Verkhovna Rada, Stepan Kubiv served as a member of the Committee on Economic Development. Previously, he held the positions of Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine and First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine.

Stepan Ivanovich is a man who dedicated many years of his life to serving the state and Ukrainian parliamentarianism. His experience, professionalism, and contributions to the country’s development will forever be remembered in the history of Ukraine.

Our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and everyone who knew and worked with Stepan Kubiv.

May his memory live on forever.
