Today, on 24th of February 2026, the fourth anniversary of russia’s full-scale invasion of our country, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is welcoming multiple delegations from foreign parliaments.
This is a symbolic and powerful signal of support for our country on the international stage and confirmation that the world has not left Ukraine alone with the aggressor.
A delegation from the Sejm of the Republic of Poland led by Marshal of the Sejm Włodzimierz Czarzasty, a delegation from the National Council of the Slovak Republic headed by Vice-speaker Martin Dubéci, representatives of the Global Network of Parliamentarians «United for Ukraine» (U4U) (this network includes parliamentarians from more than 30 countries), delegations from the parliaments of the United Kingdom, the French Republic and the Italian Republic, and representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe arrived at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine today to express their solidarity with Ukraine and discuss further ways to strengthen cooperation, security, and the restoration of Ukraine.
Today is a day that demonstrates the unwavering resilience of the Ukrainian nation and the strong support of the international community, which stands side by side with Ukraine in the fight for freedom and democracy.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is demonstrating unity and strength today: Parliament is becoming not only the centre of legislative work, but also a symbol of national resilience that unites Ukrainians and friends of Ukraine around the world.
