On behalf of the Parliament, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk recognised those who make a significant contribution to the development of the state and support of society through their work and dedication.

Representatives of education and science, medicine, culture, sports, local self-government, the Armed Forces and the Defence Forces, as well as volunteers and public figures received certificates of honour, diplomas and gratitude.

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada stressed that this is a recognition of professionalism, civic courage and daily work for Ukraine. At a time when the state is fighting for freedom and independence, the contribution of everyone - military and volunteer, teacher and doctor - is of particular importance.

"The awards of the Verkhovna Rada are the gratitude of society for courage, dedication and indifference, for concrete deeds that bring victory closer and strengthen Ukraine," Ruslan Stefanchuk said.
