Ruslan Stefanchuk congratulated Igor Grosu on the convincing victory of democratic and European forces in the parliamentary elections in Moldova.
«This is a clear choice of the Moldovan people for democracy, freedom and a European future. putin's attempts to impose a different scenario have failed,» the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada emphasised.
The parties emphasised the common path of Ukraine and Moldova and their confidence that both countries will inevitably return to the great European family. No artificial barriers will prevent this.
Ruslan Stefanchuk also invited Igor Grosu to visit Ukraine to deepen bilateral cooperation.
«I am convinced that together we will be able to defend our common values — freedom, democracy and dignity — even more effectively. This is what unites the peoples of Ukraine and Moldova and brings us closer to our common goal,» the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine emphasised.
