On the 34th anniversary of Independence of Ukraine, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk held a meeting with US Special Envoy General Keith Kellog.
During the conversation, the parties focused on the key issue — achieving a just and lasting peace for Ukraine.
Ruslan Stefanchuk thanked the United States of America for its strong support for our country. He noted that US military, financial and political assistance plays an extremely important role in strengthening our country's defence capabilities. Separately, the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada thanked European partners for their solidarity and comprehensive support for the Ukrainian people.
‘Only joint strength and solidarity can stop the war and bring about a just peace for Ukraine and all of Europe,’ the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada emphasised.
