The discussion focused on the progress of international negotiations on peace and security.

The parties confirmed their shared position that Ukraine's success on the path to peace is a significant contribution to strengthening democracy and stability in the world. The non-alternative nature of the principles of territorial integrity and the inviolability of internationally recognised borders was emphasised. It was separately emphasised that Ukraine should be a participant in all negotiation formats that concern it, and that Europe should be a full-fledged party in discussions about its own security.

Ruslan Stefanchuk noted the importance of further interparliamentary dialogue with Serbia: «I am confident that such an exchange of views strengthens mutual understanding between our countries and opens up additional opportunities for constructive cooperation.»

The parties agreed to continue contacts and coordinate positions on issues important for stability and peace in Europe.
