On 4 April 2025, another Russian missile strike on Kryvyi Rih killed 19 civilians, including nine children. More than 50 people were injured. The missile hit a residential area, causing widespread destruction.

This is one of the most tragic acts of violence against civilians in recent months. Ukrainian communities are declaring days of mourning to honour the memory of the victims.

«This is not just an attack - it is another war crime committed deliberately. The russians are terrorising Ukrainians - children, civilians in their own homes. The killers must be named and brought to justice. The international community must do more. There must be inevitable punishment for crimes against humanity,» Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk said.

First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Korniienko pointed out: «russia continues to terrorise civilians and kill Ukrainians. And clearly demonstrates its desire for war, not peace. Peace must be comprehensive and real, not the way russia sees it - with missiles and bloodshed.»

«Residential building. 19 dead and more than 50 wounded. Nine children among the killed. It's a lot of pain. And rage at the inhumans who did this. How many more innocent lives must they take before the world realises that russia does not need peace? Ukraine is grieving together with the whole Kryvyi Rih,» Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Olena Kondratiuk said .

The Ukrainian Parliament shares the pain with all those who have lost their loved ones.

We are united in our grief, in the memory of each victim and in our struggle!
