Latvian Saeima Speaker Daiga Mierinė arrived in Ukraine on an official visit

Daiga Mierinė, Latvian Saeima Speaker, arrived in Ukraine on an official visit together with a delegation of Latvian parliamentarians.

Olena Kondratiuk, the Vice-Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, met the Latvian delegation at the Kyiv Railway Station.

"This is another important visit for the development of interparliamentary cooperation and evidence of support for Ukrainian-Latvian relations," she noted on her Facebook page.

As reported by the Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Olena Kondratiuk, the Latvian delegation has planned a number of meetings with Ukrainian authorities and representatives of training and rehabilitation centers for the military.
