On 13 September 2024, the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Korniienko delivered a welcoming speech at the Opening Ceremony of the Ukrainian Leadership Academy's 2025 Programme.
“10 years is a very serious date, a serious age for the programme. I believe that the 10th anniversary of the Programme is a powerful testimony to its effectiveness, youth involvement, and desire to participate and develop our country. During this time, we have gone through different things, but we have come out of it stronger and with a clear vision of the next 10 years,” the First Vice Speaker said in his speech.
Oleksandr Korniienko also said that Ukraine still needs leaders to win the Victory, carry out the Restoration and gain new achievements. The First Vice-Speaker also stressed that students will be able to find their like-minded people and support in the ULA:
“During the educational process, take advantage of all the opportunities this year, communicate and create your own community. It will be your support for life. It will help you a lot in your future achievements,” Oleksandr Korniienko emphasised in his speech.
