According to the Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine, Tuesday, 20 August, was a productive day in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
The Ukrainian Parliament has adopted a number of decisions.
Adopted as a whole:
No. 8371 — amended certain laws of Ukraine regarding the activities of religious organisations in Ukraine;
No. 9585 — amended certain laws of Ukraine regarding the legal status of foreigners and stateless persons participating in the defence of the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine;
No. 9538 — amended the Law of Ukraine "On Ensuring the Participation of Civilians in the Defence of Ukraine" to improve the procedure for obtaining, declaring and handling firearms;
No. 11483 — amended Article 3 of the Law of Ukraine "On Social and Legal Protection of Servicemen and Members of Their Families";
No. 11322 — amended the legislative acts of Ukraine to improve criminal liability for offences against the established procedure for performing or completing military service during martial law;
No. 11093 — amended Article 11 of the Law of Ukraine "On the Legal Status of Persons Missing in Special Circumstances".
Adopted as a basis:
No. 11410 — amended the legislative acts of Ukraine regarding the deprivation of state awards for promoting or propagandising the aggressor state or committing other illegal actions against Ukraine;
No. 11411 — proposed to amend the Tax Code of Ukraine regarding the right to a tax social benefit in case of deprivation of state awards of Ukraine.
