The leadership of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, MPs of Ukraine and the Secretariat of the Ukrainian Parliament express their sincere condolences on the tragic death of Iryna Farion.
Iryna Farion was a member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the 7th convocation. She was the Head of the Subcommittee on Higher Education and later the First Deputy Head of the Parliamentary Committee on Science and Education.
She has received numerous awards and honours for her contribution to the development of Ukrainian education and science. Laureate of the Ivan Ohiienko Prize for Scientific Achievement. She was awarded a diploma of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
The memory of Iryna Farion will be forever preserved in the history of Ukraine in the most difficult periods of its formation and development.
