Young scientists – Doctors of Sciences – were awarded diplomas of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for 2022.
Opening the event, Ruslan Stefanchuk emphasised the importance of the efforts of young Ukrainian scientists who, despite the full-scale war, continue to develop Ukrainian science. ‘Thank you for your energy and intelligence, for realising that you are a powerful potential for the future of Ukrainian science,’ he added.
Addressing the young scientists, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stressed that the Parliament today actively supports young people who seek to realise themselves in scientific activities.
The participants of the event observed a minute of silence in memory of those scientists who stood up to defend our country and died in the fight against the aggressor.
At the end of his speech, the Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament expressed his belief that thanks to the energy, rationality and perseverance of young Ukrainian scientists, Ukrainian science will take a prominent place at the European and global levels.
