During his working visit, the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Korniienko, together with the MP Arsenii Pushkarenko, handed over two buses from the Republic of Estonia to the Horshchykivka and Olevsk communities for educational and humanitarian purposes.

The First Deputy Speaker expressed his gratitude to the partners for their support and assistance at this time.

“Thanks to accession to the European Union and regional equalisation projects, communities will receive additional resources for development in the coming years,” Oleksandr Korniienko stressed, noting that bringing Ukrainian communities closer to the European level is an important task.

In particular, Oleksandr Korniienko and Arsenii Pushkarenko sincerely thanked the teachers for their contribution to the educational process and training of the younger generation.

At the same time, during an open lesson on ‘Joining the EU’, they talked to the graduates about their plans for the future and the prospects they can take advantage of in the context of Ukraine's European integration: “Young people are lucky – most of their lives will be spent in the European Union.”
