The First Vice Speaker Oleksandr Korniienko, together with people’s deputies of Ukraine Serhii Nahorniak and Arsenii Pushkarenko, visited the positions of the 59th separate motorised infantry brigade named after Yakiv Handziuk and awarded our heroes with the Certificates of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
In particular, the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine handed over award weapons to the soldiers who distinguished themselves during the fighting against the russian invaders.
They also talked to the soldiers and the commander of the 100th separate mechanised brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to hear about the needs and requests on the battlefield. “We will pass this information on to our international partners – we cannot waste time and delay the process of transferring military aid. We need it yesterday,” said Oleksandr Korniienko.
“The war continues. Every day, the best sons and daughters of Ukraine risk their lives and give them for statehood, independence and sovereignty – for children, for the people, for the country,” said the First Vice Speaker, stressing that it is important to continue support and assistance in all its forms – military packages, sanctions, donations and fees.
