During her official visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Deputy Chairwoman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Olena Kondratiuk took part in the Sixth International Forum of Intercultural Dialogue. The event is attended by 110 countries, including many from the Global South and the Muslim world: Iraq, Malaysia, Algeria, Pakistan, Turkey, Argentina, Uzbekistan, Morocco, Tajikistan, Spain, Saudi Arabia, Italy, and others.
In her speech to the Forum's delegates, the Vice Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament spoke about the terrible humanitarian consequences of russian aggression.
Olena Kondratiuk also emphasized the preparations for the Peace Summit in Switzerland and support for the ten points of the President Zelenskyy’s Ukrainian Peace Formula.
"On behalf of Ukraine, I invited the countries participating in the Forum for Intercultural Dialogue to join the Summit. This is one of the most important summits for Ukraine. Because it is about justice! About peace! It's about global security and international law!" emphasized Olena Kondratiuk.
The Vice Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament also invited the participating countries, especially those from the Muslim world, to join the International Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children.
"Today they heard from me the truth about what is happening in my country. About grief, pain, destroyed lives. But also about the kindness and assistance we feel from many countries. And about our national dignity and invincibility!" emphasized Olena Kondratiuk.
