On Wednesday, 24 April, the Parliament of Ukraine adopted a number of decisions.

In particular, the people's deputies of Ukraine ratified:

An additional agreement between Ukraine and the Technical Secretariat of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons on privileges and immunities for technical assistance visits;

Agreement on Digital Trade between Ukraine and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

The draft law was adopted as a whole:

No. 11091 – amended the Law of Ukraine ‘On the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine’, increasing the number of the State Border Guard Service by 15,000.

No. 11130 amended Article 31 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine to improve the procedure for criminal proceedings. The document provides for amendments to the procedure for consideration of cases by the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) and clarifies the composition of the court in cases against high-ranking officials.

Adopted as a basis:

No. 11150 – proposed amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine regarding the protection of the interests of owners of land shares, as well as the application of administrative procedures in the field of land relations.

No. 10346 – proposed to introduce state regulation of the production and circulation of ethyl alcohol, alcohol distillates, bioethanol, alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, tobacco raw materials, liquids used in electronic cigarettes and fuel.

No. 11084 – proposed amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine regarding the peculiarities of tax administration during martial law for taxpayers with a high level of voluntary compliance with tax legislation. The document provides for the introduction of a list of taxpayers – legal entities and individual entrepreneurs – with a high level of voluntary compliance with tax legislation, which will enjoy a number of advantages in tax administration during martial law.

No. 10319 – proposed amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine to take into account the provisions of the Recommendations of the Council of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development on tax measures to further combat bribery of foreign officials in international business transactions. The document introduces tax measures that will help combat bribery and bribery of foreign officials and is one of the prerequisites for the introduction of international standards and Ukraine's membership in the OECD.

No. 9256-d – proposed amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine to combat gambling addiction and improve state regulation of activities related to the organisation and conduct of gambling and lotteries. The document envisages the liquidation of the Commission for Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries (CRGL) and strengthening of control over the gambling business.

No. 10380 – proposed amendments to the Customs Code of Ukraine and other laws of Ukraine regarding the peculiarities of customs declaration of passenger cars by means of the Unified State Web Portal of Electronic Services (via Diia).
