The parties discussed the next aid package and the needs on the battlefield. “We greatly appreciate the support of Estonia and its people – it is among the largest as a percentage of GDP,” Oleksandr Korniienko said.
In addition, the parties touched upon the topic of Euro-Atlantic prospects for our country, as well as the strengthening of support for Ukraine's path by NATO member states on the eve of the Washington Summit.
At the same time, Oleksandr Korniienko informed about the situation at the frontline. The parties discussed cooperation in the field of military technology.
In conclusion, the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine thanked the Minister of Defence of Estonia and the entire Estonian people for moving together with Ukraine and Ukrainians towards a just victory, security and justice.
The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Policy and Interparliamentary Cooperation Arsenii Pushkarenko and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to Ukraine Annely Kolk.
