On Thursday, 21 December, during the Christmas Prayer Breakfast, representatives of the Plast National Scout Organisation handed over the Peace Light of Bethlehem to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
It was brought to the Ukrainian Parliament by members of the Ukrainian Parliament who are members of Plast.
"The Peace Light is a symbol of hope and strength of spirit of the Ukrainian people, especially in the face of russia's unprovoked aggression against our country," said Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk.
He noted that every spark of this light reflects the determination to remain united and strong in the face of challenges.
"The Peace Light of Bethlehem shows that even in the darkest times, Ukraine and the entire Ukrainian people remain fired with faith in a bright future and Victory," the Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine emphasised.
