First of all, the Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine expressed gratitude to the Ukrainian World Congress for supporting our country in the fight against russian aggression. He also thanked for coordinating the Ukrainian diaspora in the world, promoting Ukraine in the international arena, and disseminating truthful information about Ukraine and the consequences of russian armed aggression. "Thank you for keeping Ukrainianness in your heart outside of Ukraine, because it is very important, especially in this period", he added.

"The enemy can be defeated through the united, coordinated actions of our international partners, allies and Ukrainians abroad," Ruslan Stefanchuk stressed.

"We have to kill the russian narrative that the world is tired of Ukraine," said the Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine, stressing the importance of continuing military, financial and humanitarian support for Ukraine: "The world cannot get tired of Ukraine because Ukrainians never get tired of defending the world."

The parties also paid special attention to efforts to properly commemorate the victims of the Holodomor of 1932-1933 in Ukraine.

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine noted that, first of all, it is about the recognition of the Holodomor as genocide of the Ukrainian people by other countries. "In 2022-23 alone, 17 foreign parliaments, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and the European Parliament recognised the Holodomor as a genocide of our people," he said.

"What is happening now is a historical spiral of what happened 90 years ago. russia has not changed, its methods have not changed, they continue to hate us and do everything to destroy everything Ukrainian," stressed Ruslan Stefanchuk.

"The world needs to know the truth. Therefore, we will continue to work together to restore historical justice," the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine concluded.
