The First Vice Speaker stressed the importance of the programme for raising the level of qualification of civil servants: “This is an opportunity to meet with American colleagues to share experiences, as well as ideas and issues of interest to both sides.”

“Ukraine will need high-quality and skilled personnel in the context of our European integration path,” said Oleksandr Korniienko.

He also informed about the current situation in Ukraine, both on the battlefield and in terms of reforms, in particular those related to education.

“The U.S. Congressional Center for International Leadership is honoured to work with our Ukrainian colleagues to build a stronger and better country and contribute to Ukraine’s victory,” said Lewis Madanick, the Senior Manager of the Open World Program at the U.S. Congressional Center for International Leadership.

“We are grateful to the American people for their support. Physically, we are thousands of kilometres apart, but we always feel that you are with us in our struggle,” the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine said in conclusion.
