The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk summed up the results of the plenary session on 27 July, during which a number of decisions were adopted, in particular:
Resolutions:
– early termination of the deputy powers of the People’s Deputy of Ukraine Yurii Aristov;
– dismissal of Oleksandr Tkachenko from the post of the Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine.
IN GENERAL:
9532/9533 – approved the decrees of the President of Ukraine on the extension of the martial law in Ukraine and the term of general mobilisation.
9322 – amended certain legislative acts of Ukraine to clarify the provisions on the competitive selection of candidates for the position of a judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, in particular, restored the special examination for candidates for the position of judges of the CCU, as well as the High Council of Justice and the High Qualification Commission of Judges, which was cancelled for the period of martial law.
FOR THE BASIS:
9534 – proposed to restore the anti-corruption mechanisms, namely, the submission of relevant declarations and special checks provided for by the Law of Ukraine “On Prevention of Corruption”.
The document also provides for the specifics and separate deadlines for submitting declarations by persons performing tasks in the interests of national security and defence and participating in military (combat) operations.
