The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine informed about a number of decisions adopted by the Parliament of Ukraine.
RESOLUTIONS:
9430 – addressed to the participants of the NATO Summit in Vilnius. The Resolution reaffirmed Ukraine’s Euro-Atlantic aspirations and called on the participants of the NATO Summit to commit to granting Ukraine full membership in the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation and to provide for a mechanism for inviting Ukraine to NATO.
9429 – called on international organisations and foreign parliaments to take urgent measures to prevent a nuclear disaster at the ZNPP, to apply tougher sanctions against the russian nuclear industry and its military-industrial complex, to recognise russia as a state sponsor of terrorism, to expand military, financial and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine and to contribute to the effective development of mechanisms to guarantee peace and security in Europe.
IN GENERAL:
9342 – provided for monthly additional remuneration for servicemen in the amount of UAH 30,000 to 100,000 in proportion to the time spent on combat (special) missions. Similar payments are provided for servicemen who were injured (wounded, contused, maimed) during combat operations and who are enrolled at the disposal of the relevant commander during temporary inability to perform military service.
9238 – allowed servicemen to use vehicles with right-hand drive steering wheels during martial law. These changes will increase the ability of the Defence Forces of Ukraine to properly and effectively perform their tasks of defending the country.
