This was stated by the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Korniienko during his speech at the panel session “Integrity of Ukraine’s Post-War Recovery” at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

The First Vice Speaker emphasised that Ukraine continues to build a fair society with zero tolerance for corruption: “Our independent anti-corruption bodies are working for this purpose: The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, the Specialised Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office and the High Anti-Corruption Court.”

In addition, he noted that cooperation with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development is very valuable for Ukraine.

“On the part of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, we will actively support the existing contact and seek to strengthen it, in particular, to become a member of the OECD,” Oleksandr Korniienko concluded.

For reference. The First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Korniienko is on a working visit to the French Republic on 22-25 May.
